In an effort to demystify the increasingly discussed substance, kratom, the Washington Public Library in partnership with Community and Family Resources is set to host an educational presentation this Tuesday. The event aims to provide attendees with comprehensive information on kratom, including its identification, uses, effects on the body, and its contentious role in opioid treatment and prevention. This initiative reflects a growing commitment to proactive community education on substances that impact public health. The presentation, which is free to the public, will be held in the Nicola Stouffer Meeting Room at 2 pm. For more details, visit the official announcement on KCII Radio’s website.
